I've managed to catch two in last two weeks.....both of them were caught in 4 ft. of water. One bit farther out from the Rock Garden (34") and the other bit just east of the LH (30") near the first inlet going towards Stoney. Both hit a SureKetch firetail grub....I mention this because I also caught 2 keeper cobia off the same grub last year in almost the same location.

I was fortunate enough to catch a 31 incher Friday 4/29 on an electric chicken under a CT. I was fishing light tackle (10#), and had to chase the fish twice to get some line back. This cobia was cought on the west flats, maybe a half mile from the channel in 4 ft. of water; and after being measured up was returned to Mother Ocean to fight again. I love to catch cobia!!!
