At the ramp at daylight and the 5 to 10 winds tried ta shut the doors when we opened them

white caps on the ramp and a heavy 1 to 2 foot chop in the bay

tried a few of my spots out in the open and it was like riding a bronco while trying to retrieve your line. ran "sorta" to the mouth of a small creek I've been thinking bout trying and set a drift strait down the mouth, I had four 18 inchers in the boat before my nephew even got a bite

we continued running out and drifting back in until we had our limit at 11 " one 17 incher, six 18 inchers, a 19 1/2 incher, a 24 incher and a 25 incher"

my nephew only caught 3 of the fish but they where both of the over 20's and an 18 "his two biggest Trout yet"

the water was very stirred up in the open but very clean in the creek mouth, temp was 77. All of my fish came under a CT with a White body/Red tail Shrimp, his fish came on a pinkish lookin thing I aint seen before, no weight, worked slow along the top of the grass

all in all a great day that looked to be an ugly one at the start
