Hit the ramp at daylight to find a SLICK bay in front of me
proceeded to put the inshore poles in the rod locker and take out the offshore rigs
ran 15 miles to my spot close to buoy 26 and started trolling, nothin, put a fishbite and fake cigar minnow on a hook and drifted the spot, 2 sea bass and a shark later I decided I needed to troll out to a spot in 50 foot of water. 100 foot from the spot, both rigs go off
grab the closest and start reeling "figuring the other will be lost, danged thang come off about halfway to the boat and the other pole is just slack
power up and the other pole goes off instantly, he was still on
after a decent fight, I had the first fish in the boat, a 26 incher and fat
set the poles back out and trolled back trough the same spot, a 23 incher goes in the box, have numerous hits after that, but only 3 shorts ta show for em. Still a nice mess of fish for a glorified jon boat
Talked to pothole from the FS forum and they wasn't doin much neither and had someone else call me but couldn't raise em back
