Lake Hall - May 23

Post by Terrier »

Took a day off and fished from 5:30 to 12:30. Caught 4 bass - all early in the day and one 12" speck later in the day. One bass was 2lb, caught on a 10" yamamoto grubworm; others were 14" (pitched lizard) , 13" (jerkbait) and a dink (jigworm). I should have gone in about 10:00 AM becuase it was quit after that(except for the speck). Water temp is holding at 82. The breeze kept things pretty cool, even at noon. I have a few "swings and misses" on a 10" grubworm buzzed on the weeds. That 10" Yamamoto grub is both my favorite topwater (I like it better than the Zoom toad) and worm.
