St Johns Disaster

Post by Fisherman989 »

Two fishing buddies just returned from a 2 day trip to the St John at Astor. The two of them spent two days there and caught a grand total of 2 bream. They are experienced fishermen and know the St John....having fished it there at Astor for many years.
People at the fish camp said the rumor of massive fish kills was true. They had millions of dead fish at the landing back during the winter. Cause was attributed to run off created from the 2 hurricaines that hit that part of the state back in the fall. :(
