Miccosoukee 7/3

Post by rocket »

Went to the Lake Miccosoukee this evening to find some shellcrackers. Stopped at Maxwells, and bought $5 worth of crickets, and then headed for the lake. Motored the jon boat out to the gator holes, and proceeded to drift.
We caught seven total (partner 2, me 5 :-D ) before leaving at dark. These suckers were the meaning of pan-size. Didn't catch alot, but they were almost two hands!
It sure was an inexpensive way to have fun. Gonna have me some 4th of July bream tomorrow. :lick: :smt047 :smt023

I bought a fly rod for catching those bigguns.
Going today I guess.

Seen too many coming out with limits using fly rods. Had to join the bandwagon!
