Took my nephew this morning and went strait to the Red hole :-D it was already low and droping fast, so I wheren't sure if we would do much  I got the first Red on a Top Dog at 21 inches :-D he got the nest one on a Redfish killer at 26 inches  he hung and lost one on the next cast, then landed a 20"er a few cast later   Since the water was geting mighty shallow, we let the wind blow us on out of there while trying for Trout. We ended up catching around 20 Trout, all of em shorts. Had what looked to be a Cobia on for a few seconds :smt013 on a pin that I caught and we had throwed out back to drift with us :smt010 all in all, not a bad 2 hours of fishing :-D
PS: NO SIGN OF RED TIDE NOR DEAD FISH

Nice report. Nice reds. Tin Can and I sure couldn't find them 2 days ago.

To bad about the cobe getting off, but there should be more of them around.

Good to hear about the little trout. They grow up to be big trout. :lick:

Man...I can't wait to get back down to the coast - especially after hearin' things aren't too bad down there with fish kills.

Wevans: Is this (see link) the Redfish killer you're talking about?

Dave,
There is a terminator in line spinner that looks like what Wevans posted. Got a couple at WallyWorld a while back. I'm sure Jerry's has got something similar too.
