West Goose Creek 9/5

Post by Charles »

Walked in and started fishing at 5 on a falling tide. Nothing started happening until the tops of the bars starting getting exposed. Even then it was only a few strikes on topwater with no hook ups. Switched to a 7M MirrOLure, but it didn't help. Don't think I even got any strikes on that. Had the digital camera with me so quit about an hour before I normally would have and hot-footed it back to the car to get you guys some sunset photos. Loads of bait moving.

See the fish? I didn't until after I uploaded it to flickr. :o
The wife said it means something.
I said, "Yeah, it means it was mostly cloudy."

Oh yeah, the deer were moving this evening. On the way home, saw one doe and then about 5 miles later saw two more does. They were all camera shy.

Good job Charles, those are some very nice pictures. Sorry the fish weren't cooperating....... you may still have some of the ole TC curse that hasn't worn off yet :-D

Not really. Someone gave me this set up for Christmas last year. The camera has so many features and settings that even after reading the book I still don't know what they actually do.

I'm just a point and shoot, and when the disposable camera runs out of film, drop it off to get developed, kind of guy. On the very rare occassion that I actually had a camera on me.

If ya'll think it's worth it, I'll start carrying a camera more often.

Maybe one night I can get the hoot owl caucus that seems to meet in my yard periodically.
