Tried them all, got so many part spools, its ridiculous, but end up with what I started with, Ande, and use fluorocarbon leader material, and I don't cinch the knot, leave it a bit loose, dances better

Most of the time it's 10# Power Pro with a 4-5' leader of 15# fluoro. If mono then 10 or 12# Ande or Berkley Big Game Supreme. I also use a loop knot with towaters and a lot of other baits inshore. Here is the knot I use: http://www.flyfishlouisiana.com/nonslip_loop_knot.htm

10# and recently the newer 15# Power Pro with short 20# fluorocarbon
leaders. I keep a couple of reels spooled with 8# ande backcountry
with same type leaders for visitors using my tackle that at not used to braided line.
I use some very old boron rods and medium and medium light
ugly stiks to compensate for the braided line. :-D

:-D Looks like Ande is the winner. Can you get that local, and how much is it? Have any of you used triplefish, perlon? It also looks like I'm the only one that ties straight to the lure. :-D Side note does braid tie like mono?
