FWC Vote in !

Post by Frank Bradfield »

Todays vote went our way. FWC voted for no closed season ! 5 -1 bag limit, 5 total , 1 red. Also the FWC is asking for the Gulf council to review the 81 % - 19 % allocation for longliners - rec , more good news ! So it seems we will be able to shallow water grouper fish after all !

Don't forget, State waters only ! They said the Coast Guard would be doing most of the enforcing but you still better obey the laws because they still might ticket you ! I really wonder how strict they will be on that, say they come up on you about 11 or 12 miles out , especially with all the hunting going on , they got their hands full. I guess it depends on the guy as always !
