Mid-Week Trip

Post by Ron Wilson »

Any thoughts on weather and sea state for Wed-Thurs fishing trip in the flats off St. Mark's? NOAA calling for 5-10 mph southeast winds with 2-4 ft. sea state. Not sure what the means for the St. Mark's flats, but we'll see.

I'm planning to a make a two day trip of it on Fri and Sat....Weather reports I've seen look good for Fri other than a slight chance of rain...Course all this can change overnight...

Going with my 18-year old son and two of his buddies. Life's too short to pass up this opportunity with kids this age.

Unlees it's a hurricane - or radar shows showers - i've slowly learned not to trust the NOAA marine forecasts.

Otherwise I'd probably only go on half of the trips I take down at the LH.
