Met this young'un. He actually let me get almost within arms reach. . . . . . one of the several times I had to go get my lure out of a bush. Good long range accuracy, like all the way across the river, but my short game needs work.

Ran into this guy again. This is a photo from last week, same 'gator. Too far off to get a shot this time.

Whatever these are, they looked purdy, so I got a shot.

"They followed me home. Can I keep'um Ma'? Huh? Can I keep'um?"
Everything today hit this 3/8 oz. black/yellow Snagless Sally w/yellow/white pork strip. Of course that was all they hit, because they didn't have a choice. That was about all I threw.

The ruler's in the pic just for good measure.

This one was taking a bath at the Lower Bridge county ramp when I got back to the livery. Flew up on the sign as I pulled in. He should have been up the river. Squirrels were moving all over this afternoon.

Wound up the day, back at the canoe livery a little after 5. Saw a manatee, but the opportunity for a shot never presented itself.
TC, you were right. I didn't keep count, but most of the fish I caught today were Suwannee bass.

Sometimes the same lures that worked 20 yrs. ago still work.
