Weather whats the deal?

Post by RC »

NOAA does it again

THIS AFTERNOON
EAST WIND 10 TO 15 KNOTS BECOMING 15 TO 20
KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 4 FEET NEAR SHORE BUILDING TO 3 TO 5 FEET. SEAS 3 TO
5 FEET WELL OFFSHORE BUILDING TO 4 TO 6 FEET. PROTECTED WATERS A
LIGHT TO MODERATE CHOP INCREASING TO CHOPPY LATE AFTERNOON. A CHANCE
OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

Present conditions at the C tower. Wind 4k Gust 5k

Should I load the truck and plan to go fishing this weekend? I'll believe you forum members before NOAA.

Navy wave height predictions look good.

Offshore conditions will be brutal ! 5 + seas, not for me, but if i could i'd chase a redfish / trout , the inshore stuff will be ok, count on some chop & wind and if you don't like that, forget it...

I'm with Frank on this, offshore will not be fun "except for the catchin" :o inshore should be awsome for catchin, but a tad rough

Then again, it could be slick as glass again "just like today" :smt076
