Today, Sat. 8 Oct., Kayak Demo Day at Lake Hall

Wilderness Way on Woodville Highway will be demonstrating a number of kayak brands today from 10:00-3:00 pm at Lake Hall in Maclay Gardens State Park off Thomasville road across from the entrance to Killearn. Some manufacturer's reps with brand new, as yet unreleased, models may be there also. Come check 'em out. Free and open to all, but there is a fee to enter the State Park.

I'll have to stop by and check out some yaks. I'm not yak shopping now and actually have mine in the back of my truck. I'll just take it with me when I go.

I plan to try and find a rudder kit here in town tomorrow for my yak.

Hey Nathan,
Yep--bring your boat and join the fun. Will be looking forward to seing ya. There is a possibility that the Hobie rep may be there to demo the new super yak, the Adventure. Hundreds of folks around the country are already on waiting lists for this baby, due to be released towards the end of this month.
