I saw some of the reports posted by others out of Lanark for last week and was surprised. We went out last Wed. and did well. We hit a couple drifts on a hole in 45ft and ended up full. Could have done better with more livies I think, but not bad in all.
It now explains why Mike seemed surprised when we stopped back in. I guess we took em all.
None of the goofballs in the pic are me. I take the pics
DANG, ya'll done REAL GOOD now, where did ya say that spot was at
“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”
It was inside of nine miles, I can tell you that.
It was about 210 degrees and about 7miles out off the east tip of Dog. It was my first time there and not my boat so I'm not 100%. I did get the #'s 100% for when I go back though. . I hope the cold has pushed em up to 35 for today.
I know that spot looks like I need ta ease over thataway next time out

that is (or was) a very good area to fish this time of year. If you maintain a 200 degree heading out of the east end of DI, there is alot of structure for a good 3-4 miles. It's great for trolling and we have marked many spots along that stretch that usually produce fish. Our trip out there a week ago produced a 3 man limit of gags on 1 hole.
