A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
This being my first complete year at trying to compete in the NFGFC's tournaments (missed the first 3 tournaments) I thought I'd pass on some observations that I made just in case it might help some of the other folks, like myself, who fall out side of the expert level. Although I managed a top ten finish there are some very good anglers out there who I know just couldn't fit all the tournaments into family and work schedules. I'd like to thank all the partners I had during the year... Steve Brawner, Rodbow, Rodbow JR., Blindhog, Tom Keels, and Chris Custaneda. Here's some of the results we were able to produce....
The point of all this and my observation on tournament fishing in the NFGFC is....
When you are in the middle of a lot of experts...., say nothing - and try to look like you know what you're doing! Thanks to all the folks who made it a good time this year
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
Everyone needs to know that this gracious captain can line it up with the best of them. Like the picture above, the fox knows just what he's doing!
Cunning, deliberate, detail oriented and well planned out are all attributes under this captains hat. Truly a "no worry" experience for any crew member that steps onboard.
Thanks for the memories and looking forward to making more.
