Went down to just get the boat in the water and run up the river, stopped at Jerrys for a dozen shrimp just in case. Put in at Shields cause the fort was packed and ran out to the lighthouse and back. Passed a big petroleum barge which is always cool. Ran up past the power plant and was able to catch a couple fish. First spot was continous silver trout, five on one piece of shrimp, not at the same time just one after the other. Hit another little hole and caught 2 pup reds, a small trout and small sheapshead. Not to bad for a hour of fishin with a dozen shrimp. Got head back tomorrow with my wife and daughter.

cool deal, glad you found a few. We launched at the fort about 10, and went downriver, then fished a few different bars, nothing, zilch, nada. still beats a day at the office, however.

Mike-

I knew you were fishing when I saw you boat was gone.... At least you got to run the motor and catch a few....
Time is the most precious commodity we have in life, stay focused.
