Alligator Point 12/29 (Late Report)

Post by Littoral »

This report is late because it was forgettable. But I gotta report the good with the bad. Enough said with, It was a nice kayak paddle.
No fish. I did snag a Mullet and I admit that was on purpose because I just wanted to feel something pull on the end of my line. It got away.
Sorry, I don’t have any pictures.

Thanks Flyrodder. I've been chomping to get into the fly scene for quite awhile now. Your photos have just added fuel to that. The ones with your daughter were exceptional. My girls are 3 & 5 & I don't have those shots -yet. They have caught the fish but the kayak-5-year old-safety equation hasn't added up to decent photo's (yet!).
By the way, I'm sure you appreciate the Sage ad that say's:

"Looking for something that casts like a Sage? Try a Sage."

That would be nice. In the meantime do you have any suggestions?
TFO? The right reel?

True enough.
Was thinking though...
I haven't read about too many of flyrodders bad days.
