NFGFC Members RE: June Tournament
We have had a request to fish the June Tournament out of Carrabelle/Lanark area.
If there are no reasonable objections we will switch June from JBT to Carrabelle.

No objection. Just a question. Where would we launch?
What was I supposed to do today?

There is a free ramp across the bridge, turn left and go to the river.
Usually plenty of parking.

Great idea! There is a good public ramp on Timber Island (the one JT mentioned) Although, I have seen trucks and trailers parked all the way back to the bridge when its busy.

What about Appachicola as well? Or could we fish there from Lanark/Carrabelle and be back at appointed time?

It's about an 18 mile run from the mouth of the Carabelle Riber to the east point of East Bay. Have at it.

I could probably not catch fish there just as easily as anywhere else.

Not sure if it makes any difference or not but June is when we typically have held the hands helping anglers event. Would having two events make any difference to anyone if the tournament were moved to Carabelle? I'm not saying anything one way or the other except that the HHA event is important (IMO)

None of the charity events are tied to the fishing tournaments this year. However, any members participating in the charity events will qualify for bonus points towards AOY programs.
