Now for another 1000 words.
Day 10 of solo kid’s duty after my wife’s tonsillectomy.
Not that I'm complaining. :smt014
The weather report on Saturday said Sunday was going to be real ugly. I’m a lot better at herding kids outdoors so blue skies this morning was a halleluiah & meant we were going somewhere. But where?
Considering Syzergy, (a funky astronomical term for the day of the year when the moon is closest the Earth) occurs Monday, Sunday’s tides were sure to be extreme.

I maintain 3 big saltwater aquariums with lots of local critters and by late winter I’m due to add some new stuff (given the standard practice of marine creatures eating each other). Tools were a 5 gallon bucket, rubber boots, a cast net, and a fishing rod (just in case). I’m hoping we find 4-5 species of snails and some killifish in what water is left in “theâ€
