Post by Brimfisher »

Hey ya'll, My father and I are headding down to Tallahassee on the weekend. We will be stayin at Ingrams marina, and I was wondering if any one could tell me if the specks are still bitting at the mouth of the bays or have they moved in to the bays. Thanks

I have not fished it in years, but my memory tells me we used to fish the back of the creeks for them this time of year, along the grass lines....Let us know how you do

My Dad has been out there a lot lately.
Like Chalk said- creeks and "bays" off the main lake.
Fish plastic worms and spinner baits along the weed lines.
Bear Creek and Little River are favorite places

Don't forget to throw a top water- this week will be warm.

Oops- I was thinking Bass!
We always caught Specks in the same places but fished white curly tail grubs.

Hey ya'll I got back from Talquin on Monday afternoon. We fished the upper end of the lake pretty hard. The fish were pretty scattered and not bittining very well, although we did get a couple in the 14+ inch range. I'm guessin with the weather and all they should turn ON soon. Although we did'nt catch many, any fishing trip with Dad is a good one.
