Secret pond 3-3-06

Post by Redfish Jim »

A friend invited me and my 10 yr old daughter out to fish in his pond in east Leon county. What a blast! Daughter caught 15 bream, some of the biggest I've ever seen. My friend mentioned they were Georgia Giants (?)or Georgia something. I got a couple of catfish about 4 lbs apiece.

Just about a perfect father/daughter trip. Only took an hour, no boat to clean, constant action, no boredom or fatigue, great memories.

Hope to hit the big pond tomorrow.

  Some of the best times I've had were in small ponds, usually with wife or grandkids. WTG.
