Advice on naming your Boat

Post by KD »

I have been wanting to give a name to my boat. It is a 17 1/2 CC. I haven't named it yet because I was wondering if it was to small for a name. I would like to get some input from fellow fisherman on that. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin

If you want to name it, then name it. It's nobody's business but yours. I've seen twelve foot jon boats named. It's up to you. You're the Captain of your boat. My next boat, no matter the size, will bear my screen name - Seatrout99.

According to mariner lore. A vessel without a name has no identity and is therefore considered bad luck.
My 17 Cape Horn was named before I purchased her and I made apromise to a sweet little 6yr old girl that I wouldn't change it.
It's a small world, unless you had to paint it.

I was thinking black lettering. It is a tanish/brown boat.
