On the Panga boat at the social last month I was noticing the scuppers among other things..Found out they are made by Seachoice...Anybody use these on their boat or have any ideas about them ? How well they work, ect ??
They work.....I heard the ball makes a click evey time a wave makes them move up, so you would hear a slight click...Friend of mine in Ocala had them on his flats boat
Don't know what brand mine are; but, they're similar. They work well; but, can get annoying in a chop with the clicking. Just get someone to stand on the bow, they usually quit
"Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant?? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh man....I could be eating a slow learner."
i have them on my boat... a self bailer that always seemed to have a little water on the deck ..esp. when loaded down.. they have worked flawlessly for two years.... alittle aggravating to clean out snipped off pieces of line or grass ocasaionlly
Recently replaced the flapper type with the ball type, 100% improvement. Like Snook said can be a pain to clean out, ball contacts firm plastic, allowing the ball to stick to stop water, then release to let it out, never have heard a clicking noise.
