Anybody have any experience with the Daiwa Coastal Inshore Casting Reel or something similar. Would like to go this route but always looking for opinions, Thanks
I looked at them at Basspro in Destin, I liked them over the Bass Pro inshore rods as well as the Falcon inshore rods....Other than that I have not fished one...I do have a Team Diawia rod that I like for worm fishing
Chalk, thanks for the input about rods but I was talking about the reels. Its the fresh water style low profile baitcaster but redesigned for saltwater.
Hey Ckalk which part of that question didn't you under stand? I know what it is your a little nervous about this weekends tournament and the big secret Don't worry it won't hurt long.
Duh ....Had fishing rods on the brain, just ordered a new one
T² taint nothing to be nervous about or any big secret, that’s just trashtalk51 trying to start his normal mess…Only thing we are worried about is who you’ll follow around all day
The Coastal is an awesome reel. I was tossing one around this past weekend. You can read the specs on line but the one I was using has not been cleaned in one year, and it was really smooth. It has a really fast retrieve rate and the drag system is a lot better on a baitcaster than a spinning rell when your hauling those big reds in.
