Spring Warrior Report

Post by MudDucker »

Went today, got on the water about 10 AM. Heard the fish were in 2 - 2 1/2 foot of water...nada. Moved out in 4-6 foot of water and hit fish. We would go through schools and either catch all keepers or all short. Ended up with two of us limiting out with nice fish and one guy only catching 2 fish. One was about 16 inches. The other he caught was 27 inches...a real gator. The net in this guy's boat was too small for netting the gator. I eventually got him in the boat, but it was interesting.

Headed up a couple of creeks to try to get our daily redfish, but couldn't find any to cooperate.

Had a great time even with a bunch of short fish!
