Kid's win tourney at St. Joe

Post by Billy Miller »

Got a nice story I'd like to share. My 8 year old daughter and I drove down to St. Joe so she could fish the kid's win tournament today, Sat. April 15th. Launched at Presnells at 7:30am, had to go by Half Hitch Tackle first and pick up some free shrimp that they were giving to the kids. Her first fish was a catfish, she could not have been more proud of herself. Her second fish was a 19 inch trout, smiles from ear to ear. I moved the boat to a 7 foot pothole, tied on a live pinfish under a cajun thunder, and a 4 pound trout hammers the pinfish. She won the small fry division, with a 4 pound trout. To all that made this tournament possibel, I thank you. She can't wait till next year.
Thanks for reading,
Billy

Very, Very, Nice.
I was in St Joe Saturday but relegated to taking a crew swimming and imagining fish out there.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
