Tally for the day was 5 reds up to 24", and one skinny trout.
Baits were redfins, spoons, victimizers, and magnums.
Saw a ton of fish; reds, trout, and mullet. Water was gin clear. The south wind just pushed us two fast. We ran over a PILE of fish.
Highlight of the day was when a STUD red came out of the water, boiled on my partner's redfin, and quickly gave him a lesson in hookset. With in a nano-second I had my redfin where he hit my partners, and BAM...it was on. Then he quickly gave me a lesson in bringing a knife to a gun fight. My 8lb. spinning tackle lasted about a minute and a half, then I got broke off.
We were way up in a creek that was about 10 ft. wide, with rocks everywhere so it was bound to happen.
