Re: Headed to Econfina
Sorry I missed you Bluespinner. Thanks for replying to my post. I don't guess many people on the board like to talk fishing... I will let you know next time I am down!

Headed to Econfina
Headed to Econfina sunday. I know fishing has been tough. Any reports of what to try or not to try would be greatly appreciated. Looking for trout and reds. Thanks in advance!

Re: Floating Grass
I went to SW on Saturday. Ran down to Dekle and searched hard for 50 scallops. Caught 1 18" trout on the way back to the ramp. Couldn't hardly fish for the floating grass. Anyone have an idea about when it usually clears out?

Shallow snapper?
Has anyone heard of or caught any keeper red snapper shallow? 25-35ft?
Scallops
I see where scallop season comes in June 16 for parts for Taylor and Dixie county. Has anyone seen any fishing yet?

Re: Rain and the weekend fishing
I guess no one wants to tackle the question so ill simplify. Is all the rain going to hurt the fishing this weekend? Im a rookie just wondering. Thanks

Rain and the weekend fishing
How will all of this rain and fresh water effect the trout and reds this weekend. My understanding is that the trout don't like all of the fresh water but it may not effect the reds as much. Will the fish stay in the same spots even if its stained or will they hunt clearer water?
Re: 12.1.16
Morning. 6 of us headed down to Suwannee this afternoon with the little boats after reds and trout. Fishing Friday and Saturday. Pumped!

Re: Creek Fishing
My old man and I stayed up a creek from about 9-12. Caught 1 short red, 1 catfish, 1 lady fish. Needless to say we should have drifted around the grass flats...
