Love Outlaw Country, Merle, Waylon but can't stand when it sounds commercial and like pop music. Also can't forget about the blues players, SRV, Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Son House, Robert Johnson just to name a very few. Also need to give Frank Zappa his due.

Ahhh Man, I can't believe ya mentioned Zappa ... From what I read he was truely an interesting dude, an artists artist with somewhat complex music. Zappa was cool & left us too soon.
Many years ago when we were having halfpipe sessions we would listen to Zappa, The Clash & Talking heads just to name a few ... ahhh the good ol' days ...

thats great, your not alone Red, I myself 40ish and have a long board too. I've seen where out in Cali the oldskool skaters like Duane Peters, Tony Alva some of those boys still have pool contest for old guys. I don't know how they still do it. I've had thoughts of gettin a "real" long board but I don't think much breaks here on the Gulf waters.

Just about anything before '75......NO RAP or CLASSICAL! I keep about 800 at the time on my Ipod which is about half of my music.
Absolute fav's would have to include Kingston Trio, Band, Dylan, CCR, Sil Austin, most all southern rock,Fountain, Hirt, Armstrong, lots of movie themes and show tunes, military marches and other patriotic tunes, Cash, Nitty Gritty, Hollies, Pickett, Gaye, Diamond, singalong Brooks, First Edition, Union Gap,
Nelson, Jennings, so much music...so litttle time! I've got quiet music and party music....mad music and drinking music...romantic music and
"kiss off" music....!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
