The plan was to get some fresh or frozen shrimp for bait but of course Jerrys’ was closed so I had to depend on artificials. My intention was to simply explore the Spring Creek area and give this winter Trout fishing a try. I’ve never caught Trout in the winter, although I have tried many times. The spring creek area is recessed from the coast and is shielded from the winds and waves of the other coastal areas many of us fish.

Heard of trout in the ICW at St. Joe, PC and now in the creeks of Spring Creek....Heard some tales of Spring Warrior too...I hope to confirm another place next week

Out of all the times I have been out, I never expected to see him in December, and especially not in Spring Creek. He must have gotten word of Litorals report, and decided he better get down there for the rush.
