launched about 7:30, high tide, caught some pinfish, then rolled out to 35-40 and started trolling. picked up a short gag pretty quick, then not much else. Tried a couple more areas trolling, nada. i dunno, pretty decent falling tide in the am, but Wednesday i got my butt kicked there, i'm gonna try running out off Dog Island, or fish around Lanark it it's blowing, a little shelter from the N wind there

Had intentions of running out to marker 24 and maybe further early, but it was blowing early (noaa lied, again ), so we were left fishing around the bars on a dead low, not much water movement by the time we got situated. caught a couple of short trout and a toadie, pretty dead. wind slacked so we ...

a buddy of mine and Pops took his mother out yesterday and they got caught in the same storm, said it was NASTY rain and boomers

I went trolling for grouper one day and a guy on my boat asked, "How far are we from land?" I looked at the depth finder and said, "oh about 26 feet." :-D :thumbup:
