ok, ok ok.....so this is what happens when you let your son get your super secret BBF password! Enough of that. A HUGE thanks to Howard and Josh for making our trip to the coast a most memorable experience. When I first saw the nice rig Harold was putting in the water, I knew we were in for a great ...

I said nothing of the sort about his wife buying his outfit, or participating in what some would call a "questionable" alt. lifestyle...I just said he needed to grow up a bit and start taking himself to Kohls/Wal-Mart etc. Ya see, when one takes oneself to the clothing store, one has the f...

Rob here. Hey, that sunburn turned out no where near as bad as originally thought, thank you. Hahaha. On a serious note, I'd like to show my gratitude to Howard for a great time and some great company. Even though the advice kind of only worked for me (;)) it was awesome and I'd love to do it again ...

Thanks, all, for the helpful replies. CPT Peart seemed perfect, but he's on vacation thru 3 June. Still hunting, may end up booking thru a service I found called BMAC, book me a charter. Not final, but my timeline is growing more narrow and I'd like to get things finalized before Friday. Thanks, too...

Awesome photos, thanks for sharing! The colors of the brookies are still amazing no matter how many times you've seen them. Looks like you had a fabulous trip. I agree with a previous poster-the sound of falling water combined with the ice cold water makes those streams a true precious natural resou...

I endorse NGTO and uncoi outfitters as well. Unicoi outfitters is easy to find, just south of Helen or just give them a call. They have some private streams with, and I know it's hard to believe, some brown trout weighing more than 5 pounds! If you're feeling more adventurous, there's a great trophy...

WooHoo! Way to go for participating in this event and good job on putting her on some catchable fish! I bet that zebco 202 was SMOKIN! Were you having to pour water on it to keep it from melting? Interestingly, must be a popular Saturday for Kids Fishing Day-I'm in Huntsville, AL and we had a simila...

Awesome photos and looks like it was a tremendous time, thanks for sharing! I echo the sentiments of MudDucker-cherish these moments and get as many in as you can, time has a way of taking it's toll on all of us. I know I really felt like the circle had been completed when I was able to take MY dad ...

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm especially grateful for the guide recommendations. I have checked Gene Strickland of Lanark Village and he looks great, but only carries 2 fishermen at a time. With 2 teenage boys, I'd risk having to see one of them on Dr. Phil 20 years from now with some sort of pen...

First, thanks to everyone who makes this website a success. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks, trying to learn answers to my questions on my own and am amazed at the wealth of knowledge offered here. I'm a former inshore salt water angler-no, fisherman-who used to live in Mobile and loved to f...
