Re: WTB 300win mag rifle

Blued/wood. Standard trigger as far as I know, but it's adjustable with an allen wrench. Scope/rings not included.

Re: WTB 300win mag rifle

I have a Tikka M695 in 300 win mag that I am considering selling. I'd have to do some research to see what is a reasonable price.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested and we'll see what we can work out.

Wanted: 08-09 Hunt Club

I found out a few weeks ago that I'm are not going to be able to hunt the same property next year. So, I'm in the market for a local club/lease to join. I prefer something in FL within 30min-1hr of Tallahassee. Likely just myself, but my Dad and coworker (hunting buddies) may also want to join ...

Water front Camping?

Some friends and I are looking for a place to go camping for the weekend. Prefer something on the water, fresh or salt. We would rather not go to a state park (don't want to anyone to get upset at us for drinking).
Any suggestions.

Wakulla Quota Hunts

I have two quota hunts for the new Wakulla WMA that I am not going to use (got permission to hunt some private property). One is the first archery Oct 14-15, and the other is a Muzzleloader for Dec. 15-17.
Anyone interested? Should be good hunts.

Arrived at the light house at about 2, right around dead low tide. Headed to the usual spots on the west flats. First fish was 24" on a pinfish/CT. I thought it would be a good afternoon. Wrong. Fishing was very very slow. Ended about 630 with only two more trout and a flounder, all caught on gulp ...

Got to the lighthouse at first light. Thought we would beat the rush at the ramp..wrong! The line was from the ramp all the way back to the main road. Everyone seemed to be going east, so we went west. My partner put on a top water clinic all the way until the sun got up a little bit. Luckily we ...

St Marks Sun 5/7

Put in at the lighthouse at daylight. Went west near the first stake. Not much going. Move out near the second stake and started catching. First two in the box were 23 and 21. Ended up with seven for the grill and had to release two more that were fat 23's. Headed back by one.
Until then my biggest ...

Waited for the morning showers to clear and headed down. Stopped at Jerry's and talked to Wet Jet. He said it was rough and a slow bite. Oh well, we're going anyway. Put in at the lighthouse and went west near the first stake. I usually go to the second but it was a little rough for the 14' jon boat ...

Offshore Charter Question

I am looking for an offshore trip that will take around 10-12 people. I know most take 4-6, but someone always gets left out. It can be anywhere within a few hours of Tallahassee. Any suggestions?

Walmart Reels

I'm looking at getting a Stradic 4000. Its $20 cheaper at walmart than Bass Pro Shops. Any theories why? Some people think it may be lower quality. Also, any opinions about Bass Pro brand rods. They have a combo with the Stradic and a 7'6" inshore rod for $180. Separately they are $240.
Thanks

St Marks 9-3

Put in at the light house ramp at first light and went west. Started out on some bars hoping for a red, with no luck. Moved out to the grass to look for trout, and we found them. Ended up one short of our limit, with the biggest about 19.5in. All on jigs. And all within a few hundred yards of one ...

Caught em anywhere from 3-8ft, generally more shallow than deep. Closer to the light house that Patty's. I'll say that there wasn't a lot of boats around where we were, everyone seemed to be farther out.
