I took my father fishing yesterday. Fished the shoals in the morning for trout and then tried Piney Island for Reds. The sharks ran us off the shoal before we could get our 3 man limit. I would love to help but know nothing about that area. I fish Panacea and a little in Carrabelle. I would suggest hiring a guide and talk to him as you fish. Most guides are willing to share info.

Good trip Sunday. Bite went off about 12:30 for a couple of hours. 8 ft of water in front of Carrabelle Beach. Not sure of water temp. Caught on jigheads and gulp (go figure).
