Me, my brother, good friend, and cousin went down to Keaton today. Tally for today was 3 redfish and 9 trout. We began fishing around 12:30 and finished at 5:30. It was our first time fishing the Keaton area.

Re: Econfina 5-16-2009
Justin told me today at work that ya'll really got into the catfish. He never mentioned all of the problems that he had. I can't wait to see him in the morning. What was the water clarity like and how deep did ya'll fish. I hope to get down there this weekend or maybe Monday.

Meetings and club membership
I think it is time that I begin coming to the monthly meetings and fishing in the tournaments. When are the meetings, where, what time, and what are the membership dues? I am not sure if I posted this in the right category; however, any information would be appreciated.

Re: Econfina 4/25/09
Atticus,
Water at econfina was very dark. We did manage two keepers, lost two at the boat, and caught numerous 14" fish.

Econfina 4/25/09
My principal, friend, and I arrived at the launch around 12:00 this afternoon. All in all we had a good day catching two keeper trout and a ton of short trout. All of our fish were caught on bright colored lures in 5 to 7 foot of water. It was nice just being able to get back out there.
Thanks
Thanks to those that responded to my thread. Maybe I will eventually get to meet you all down on the econfina.
Advise
Hey fellows, this probably should be in the boating section but I need some advise. I currently have a Carolina Skiff 178 DLV with a 4-stroke 90 Yamaha that I bought last year. I love my boat, however; because of the oyster bars and rocks in the econfina, I am thinking about selling or trading this ...

My brother, son, and I put in on the Econfina this morning and was met with the thickest fog that I have ever seen. We did manage to spend the day on the water; however, to no prevail. We caught one short trout and a keeper rock bass. At 3:30 this afternoon we could see the Econfina river tower at ...

Extras with boat include a swim ladder, 2 stainless steel rod holders, and a 54# thrust Great White trolling motor (saltwater edition ...

Boat Problem
I realize this should probably be in in the boating section, however; I need some good advise. I own a new carolina skiff 178 DLV with a 90hp yamaha 4 stroke motor. This past week I was at the St. John's river with my father, brother, and son all on board. The boat would not plane and would only get ...
