I just spliced one on a boat i just bought. the butt connectors work fine just use electrical tape afterwards. we used the boat after fixing cables and worked great.

OK maybe it might be a good idea for me to think of this as i am runnning a 22 year old boat fresh out of a pasture where it had been for several years.how much does a "subscription "cost ?couldnt afford a newer boat at this time but might want to think about this.

Wife says she wants to go to keaton again saturday,dont get off work till 8 am so will be around 1030 arrival.its nice when the wife consistently catches the most fish. makes for an easy return to the water.hopefully the old boat does as good as its first two voyages.
