If you put in at Lanark, go out the channel and head east about 200 yards and start fishing. You can also go to east end of Dog Island in the umbrella cove area. All of it is good fishing. Just make sure you dont try to cut the turn at the red marker heading to DI.

We launched out of Lanark Wednesday (June 1st) and they were removing debris and the old smoker shack next to the ramp. Looks like he is moving forward and will surely be welcomed.

If your going from Tallahassee, Lanark isnt that much farther than the lighthouse. You can be Snapper fishing in 20 mi frm launch in 55 feet of water. Navigate around the booms and alls good. Good luck.

We have very little problem in Carrabelle. We have Verizon and can also get coverage to about 5-7 miles offshore. It also depends on how old your phone is, the newer the better.

Is there anyone in the Tallahassee area that can repair a GPS? I have a GPSMap 276c and the unit will not read the battery and one of the battery tongs is broken off. Garmin sent me a new battery and that didnt work. It works fine with car charger and wall plug. I would prefer local so that I have ...

Its a great deal if you fish alot in that area. The trout are being caught but it looks like grouper have been slow. A lot of rock bass and some nice AJ's have been caught lately. Hopefully seas will lay down after this front goes by.

Sadly, the Lanark Village Mart is closing. The ramp is owned by the Lanark Village Boat club and will remain open for launching. You will still be able to launch for $10.00 or purchase an annual launch pass. Mike and the store will be missed.

Thanks, I did notice they changd the forecast from 1-2's to 3 foot swells. May be fine on the north side of Lanark Reef. I will let you know if we make it out.
