Re: Obama's "Not So Funny Joke" Tonight Show
Abe Lincoln was the result of 2 teen age kids that met at a Methodist Camp Meeting brush arbor back in the early 1800's. ....Elvis Presley came from the same background......where do you think he learned to sing, play the guitar and dance  In a Pentecostal church :D

Re: Question about st. marks area
You guys are very sweet. It's very helpful as you each give me specific spots and I'll have some choices. I can't thank each of you enough. I hope to see you at a future meeting.

Re: Question about st. marks area

Re: Question about st. marks area
Gentlemen, Thank you very much. That is just what I need. With kids, they will either like or not. A lot of that depends on how they do at first. Hey and Wevans, thanks for the tip on your brother. I'm tempted, but i'm concerned he might be an "athlete" like your cartoon or maybe a one-eyed, one ...

Question about st. marks area
Question if you don't mind. I've been studying the st. marks area. I don't want to invade anyone's fishing hole, but I'm wondering if someone can give me some general direction. I think I see three likely places to fish in the St. Marks area: 1) a couple creeks on the west side of the St. Marks just ...

Re: Baiting with live shrimp
Great tips! Thank you very much. I agree about the safety. I have good equipment, and have the safety part down. I fished for years with my Daddy who went every week somewhere. I just need to take it very slow here until i learn the creeks and river better, but i've studied the aerials and maps and ...

Re: Behold the rare NON-speckled Trout
Thanks Jumptrout for the invite. I have another Christmas party, but maybe another meeting. I have to admit i know nothing of fishing this area and hardly know where to go after I put the boat in, so i don't have much to contribute. Thanks for the hospitality.

Baiting with live shrimp
hello, i'm new to the board and have never fished the big bend, but I thought I'd ask your expert opinion before I venture out with my son to the St. Marks area this week. He's 9 and hasn't fished hardly at all. What do you think would be the easiest and most effective bait for trout (or whatever ...

Re: Behold the rare NON-speckled Trout
Yes, I'd say that was a sand sea trout or what they call further west in the Gulf, a white trout. I used to catch them in AL, MS, and TX with my daddy. The world record is like 6 lbs. So you caught a big one. And they are usually in deeper water. They are good to eat, but maybe a little ...
