i was readin the post about the I of mexico from Crispyfishin and jt said the I was the I on the nav chart in the words gulf of mexico and everybody said it was a great place to grouper fish but i was lookin and guys it said it was 1800 FEET DEEP THERE!!!!!!! HOW DO U FISH THAT?

Took Dubble Troubles advice about baymeadows and went with my grandpa. Lines out at 500 and first bite at 505. But 5 in the boat before dark at 620. Grandpa caught 4 and i caught 1 haha. no pics

1. What kind of rig do i need to use.

2. How deep do i need to fish.
