Re: Scallop report Cristal River area
They have been good and real big but go a little deeper between 8ft and 12ft. Get a chart or go online to http://marine.geogarage.com/routes you will be able to see some of the hazards in the area. Head about half way to Homosassa and have a look. They have been pretty thick in the sandy coral ...

I Need a good Kingfish Picture
Hey guys. I am in need of a fairly high rez picture of a good sized king. I need the pic for a fishing report that is being published in the March issue but the captain who wrote it dosnt seem to have anything to go with it. So when im in need I turn here. If anyone has one and dosnt mind it being ...
Re: BOHICA
This is a topic that really gets me hot, the question I have to Red Yakker is why would you support something like this. In real numbers the recreational fisherman and the charter captains with all of their customers and throw in the spear fishermen who can selectively pick the big ones take less ...

St. James Bay is real nice and I believe they have a dock so you can leave your boat in. I think its 175 or 200 per night for a 3 bedroom condo.

Re: Need for an ETHANOL page
I don’t know for 100% but have been told by several marine repair shops and dealers that a good preventive is to install a water separator, and change your filter every couple months. Ethanol is basically the same molecular weight as water and will bond with water in your tank so a separator will ...

Re: Snook Fishing- September on Little gasparilla Island
I have a lot of very fond memories of that place and the fishing. The owner of a company I worked for owns beach to bay on the south end, we would make quite a few trips there mainly to do yard work and maintain the houses but every minute of work was well worth the time there. It is a very special ...

Re: Boat speed advice
That does sound a little slow, I have a 19’ Action Craft with a 200 Yamaha and with a modified prop it would run 63-65 depending on the day. I now have a SS prop I believe it’s an 18 or 19 pitch and runs in the mid to upper 50’s. I’d say take a look at your prop or your motor just isn’t running ...

Re: Scoop Sea's Oil Spill Thread
Hi Scoop my email and phone have been blowing up over this and I was sent this link last night form a person in Texas about a company that produces microbs to eat oil, they have been used in open water and in-shore, I guess my question is has this been brought up to fight the spread into our waters ...

Re: Jet Drive Kayak
Well Nathan this thing is 1in short of 16ft so no lights and its 1.5hp so no fl #s and its pull start. Ive owned it for 2 years and there has never been any maintenance other than changing the oil. Most of the time I use the motor when ive paddled to far or get a nasty head wind. I love to paddle ...
