I almost always go out of rock landing. Went out yesterday evening again with a couple of friends and they were still there. I think we totaled nine. Three were short.

Got out around 10am with a friend. First spot we tried was dead. Hit another one about an hour before high tide and immediately had a double hook-up, 21in and 19in redfish. I fished Panacea area from 3:30pm-6:00 on a falling tide. I caught one 13in flounder and hooked a stingray in the wing somehow. That was all. My yellow kayak buddy was out there and didn't have much to show for either (and he normally does). My temp was reading 67 degrees in shallow water...and 65 ...

Fished Monday from 11-3pm. Two keeper trout, one spanish.

Fished all day Tuesday - 5 Trout, 1 Spanish, 1 Flounder. Several smaller trout throughout the day...and one 27.5in Red.

Redfish was caught near an oyster bar. Trout in grass flats 3-5ft of water.

Still a little slow on the river today, was out between 11-215pm...not the best hours I realize. But we did bring home two decent trout, one 18in, the other 19.5 inch. We caught one on our last cast that was larger than the other two...but I lost him trying to get him into the boat....he looked well ...

Kind of dead...nice day though. Picked up a 20in redfish...just past the power plant. That's about it! Hoping to get out again soon!

Hit up the power plant today (thanks for the directions), got on the water around 1:30pm, rising tide, shrimp on bottom. Tons of baby mangroves, bagged one keeper. 4 baby reds. Lost one trout at the boat, and bagged one. Lot of fun, wish they were bigger. Tight lines!
