Yesterday I got those reds up against the marsh grass/point/oysterbar on the western side of the bottoms rd creek. I was right on the pt. (at the mouth) of the firstBIG cove u come to on that western shoreline. I got em right about 2:15--3 ish. Right around high water. IV caughgt some reds in number...

Yea, u probably made the right decision. after the 2nd "squaL" PASSED AND IT LAID DOWN SOME, there was a pretty good sea comming in from offshore., where there was no swell earlier. made me think there must have been some Wind out hthere somewhere so I gave it up when it got threating look...

I fish mostly out of my kayak,but go other times on friends boats. Never have stayed till dark, always wanted to try so me nite fishing down here. We did aloy of nite fishing in Va.--Chesapeake bay--Awesome!

Yea, I guess it could have been a gar, but ithad those reptian looking scales and was 11ft long. Creatures? before the storm one of my fishing buddies and I were at just off the St m litehouse(it was breezy)in our kayaks and I had one of those so ugly their almost cute sea cows scare the s at of me....
