Coming down to St Marks this week to try the reds and trout. Also going to spend some time on Lake Talquin for some fresh water fishing. Never fished Lake Talquin but like trying new areas. How's the catch on this lake been this early in the year?

If a revolver is what you want I suggest a Ruger lcr (hammerless) or the Ruger lcrx (has hammer) both are 38 spec +P. Just purchased one for 425.00 plus Ky sales tax. If it will be carried in purse suggest the hammerless Ruger LCR. Also have a S&W Airweight 38 spec +P that will cost you around 500 ...

Thank goodness she does'nt check the forum. Usually dont break plans for fishing trip until last minute but used the "Honey why dont you travel to some of the away games with your girley friends and watch the Wildcats". Worked better then a diamond ring. At least good for two trips south this spring ...

Time To Go South
Time to get away from this cold Kentucky weather and head south for a few days to St Marks. Tides and moon looks good mid February so maybe the Reds will be hungary. Leaving the women at home this trip to take care of the necessary chores. The are so understanding.

Can relate. It's 2 degrees going to -7 tonight here in central Kentucky. Heading down to St Marks mid Februrary for 10 days. Cannot get here soon enough.

Thanks for the information guys. Made first trip to the Big Bend area two years ago and fell in love with it.
