How do you go about catching them? What baits do you use?

I will be using Sting Ray wings, mullet, and bonita as bait

Going to be taking a trip to the Bald Point/Alligator point area late next month(sept,oct) & doing alot beach shark fishing....any suggestions on hook size? Thank You in advance

My braid is breaking...which to me is good cause it means my knot didnt fail nor did the leader. My braid is the lesser of all them...the braid broke bout 8" from the knot. It seems Ive got a knot that will pass smoothly thru the roller guides ))

Thanks GUYS!!!! so far Ive tried the FG, Alberto, & Albright. The Alberto..pulled loose at the knot. The FG knot looks great..but Im just not a full believer in it yet...and finally the regular ALBRIGHT HAS BEEN TIED OVER AND OVER BY ME IN THE LAST 2 DAYS AND ONLY TO HAVE MY BRAID BREAK!!!!!! NOT ...

The one big problem is the 250lb mono is so thick compared to the 100lb braid....the mono won't cinch down properly.

I am new to surf fishing...having problems joining my base 100lb braid to my shock leader of 250lb Andes monofilament......any suggestions????

I totally agree with alot of wat u all have said....the area I fish is primarily fishing area only cause no one looking for some pretty water will even wade out in the dark soup that I shark fish in....I don't even like wading out past waist deep here..too many stingrays and Bull Sharks....you can't ...

Where I fish..lots of Bulls and Stingrays..rarely see anyone in the water. Can't even see your foot in a foot of water lol...the Octlockonee river is putting out alot of sediment...great Redfish,Trout,tarpon fishing.

I guess in the area I fish it doesn't really matter due to very little current and no waves.

Whats up guys. My wife and I are seriously considering moving to the Crawfordville Area...just 30 minutes outside Tallahasse next fall. I would love to get in a Yak fishing group! Sounds like alot of fun.
