I've just gotten back into fishing after a 7 yr hiatus. I've had no problems catching trout in th east flats off the lighthouse. But 90% of them are only a foot long. Will the lighthouse ramp be usable around 7am Sat? Shows low at 6:15 at .7 ft. I rem yrs ago, it being a foot wide creek at low tide. I'll be in a 15ft jon.

My son and I fished about a mile East of the light house, only in 3 ft of water Saturday. Pulled in 5 trout, all about 12 inches. Nothing to cheer about, but better than nothing. We didnt venture farther out due to the winds and riding a 15 ft jon boat.

If you walk around the other side of the boat ramp, you can fish off the north end of the 'jetty' and there is an oyster bar right there. Never done it, but thought it would be a good spot to try one day if im not in the boat.
