Re: Floundering
I'm staying down by St Andrews State Park. It won't be completely low tide the next few days but any suggestions where I can go floundering?
I don’t know much about floundering or Saint Andrews State Park, but if you figure it out, I would love to hear about it in a blog post. A few pictures ...

Bienvenue! Il y a beaucoup de gros requins dans la région de Big Bend. Veuillez les attraper et les manger. Les requins mangent trop de red snapper et de grouper.

Reel Advice Needed Shimano Torium 16HG v. Speedmaster 12 II
I just purchased a 5'8" heavy jigging rod that I plan to use primarily for bottom fishing. I could use some some reel advice. I have Shimano Torium 16s and like them. But is there a good reason to use the SpeedMaster II instead?

Tuesday morning, we launched the boat from Carrabelle. We headed south through East Pass until we reached one of my usual bait spots in about 50’.

Boomhauer, I know no one who is better at identifying fish than you. I had never heard of a bulldozer lobster before your comment, but I looked them up, and I think you are correct in your determination.

A lot of trial and error is involved. I stare at the sonar as we run with the machine zoomed-in to ...

Thanks, Shakenbake. Finding red snapper in June should be easy, but it will get more difficult when the water gets hot. Good luck.shakenbake wrote: March 29th, 2025, 9:35 pm Great report and nice catch! Hope to get out there to hunt some new numbers in preparation for RS season once the wind lays down.
