Lanark 8/20

Fished from 8-12 w/ little action. Caught 1 short trout, 2 tiny grouper and a few ladyfish. Water was crystal clear from the shore all the way out to the reef. Surprisingly few boats out for such a beautiful morning.

Lanark 8/12

Headed east out of the launch and stayed inside Lanark Reef. Fished from about 7 till 11:30. Landed 4 trout, 3 keeper size. All trout were caught in 2 ft. of water. Best bait was the Elec Chicken SWA. Tried pinfish behind the boat, but only managed sharks so I gave that up.

Tried again this morning ...

A little hard to see because the pic was taken in the morning before heading out.

Carabelle 8/2

Had the chance to turn in inspection into a weekday fishing trip. On the water by 9:00, catch some pinfish on the back side of DI and head out. Tried several places from 35-50 ft without a single fish. Had a few breakoffs, but that was it. Tried pinfish and LYs, but they seemed to have lockjaw today ...

That is where I have been keeping my boat and I had to call them to find out that they have sold that and I think they are going to build condos there. I have been looking for similar storage in that area, but have not been successful yet. If I find anything I will pass it along.

Washdown Pump

The washdown/livewell pump has been burnt out since I got my boat. I am looking to replace it and was looking for some advice on which way to go. The built in livewell is basically useless as it is so small. I have looked at the options for the livewell systems, but don't want to take up the room of ...

Second Hand Ochlockonee Report 5/2

Had a friend go out of OB yesterday after some grouper. Got out around 9:30 and fished in 40-50 ft of water. Caught 6 keepers and many shorts. Bait was LY's, Sp. Sardines and Pinfish. Grouper hit all 3. Action was pretty steady all day.

Sorry for the limited info. Just wanted to pass on that ...

Carrabelle 4/21/05

Left the ramp at 9:30 and headed out and tried trolling in 35 ft. Picked up one short gag. Decided to head out deeper since it was so nice out. Ended up around O Tower on some good looking bottom. Anchored up and the snapper started hitting right away. Caught around 40 but only 2 keepers and about ...

Canvas Repair

Does anyone have a recommendation of a place in the C'belle area for repairing a canvas center console cover (redoing zippers), and for repairing cushions? I am also interested in getting a splash screen for the CC. Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.

I bought the 172C and a preprogrammed blue chip a couple months ago. The weather lately has prevented me from using it more than once, but it worked great when I did get out. I did not want to have to mess with extra cables and software, so I went with the preset.

2000 VIP Stealth

Boat is in good condition. 2000 Yamaha 175 V-Max w/ less than 150 hours very well maintained. 12/24 V Trolling Motor. Single or Dual livewell. Hot Foot Throtle. Plenty of storage room for tackle and equipment. Built in cooler. Custom dual axle trailer. Don't use it enough to justify keeping it ...
