First cobia I've seen this year

I was told when the forked tail kites show back up cobia are soon to follow. I didn’t have any luck lick year but didn’t dedicate much time to them. May have to scratch an itch this season.

Re: Need Help Identifying a Fish

The good news is when they show up you know good fishing is on the way. They are still a cool fish.

Free Penn Reel w/ Fenwick Rod

Got a nice rod/reel combo free to a good home, here’s the catch: your going to have to find it. Here’s why: Launched the skiff late this morning as the fog was chased out by the sun and south wind. Got out West of the light house and was able to find two keeper flounder and soon found the pack of wo...

Re: St. Marks, 3/27

Sounds like you found some rabbits. Teeth are strong enough to punch clean through an aluminum can. Fog has been intense for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Need to have a smooth puffer tournament

I'm going out on the flats tomorrow. I've already decided I'm gonna skin & eat every puffer I catch. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] https://media3.giphy.com/media/nKFXQkxLRiEhy/giphy.gif?cid=349c9dd789jb4p2lmx4xqnfm2arz4tr30cga5hb8wk5tmz7w&rid=giphy.g...

Re: New Killswitch Requirement

Well, since the Coasties or FWC will never be conducting a boat check while you're anything but stationary, and you're not required to use it while stationary or operating not on plane, I don't see how they will ever be able to enforce this. Took the words out of my mouth. Sent from my iPhone using...

Re: SPANISH MACKS

What do you guys do with them? They bleed and make the boat a mess. Taste ok the day they’re caught but I haven’t had luck eating them later. I have smoked a few and made decent fish dip. Do you target them just because the pull drag or are you wanting them for the table? Spanish Mack make for some...

Re: Jon boat or Gheenoe for flats

I am leaning towards the Jon boat due to all the rocks and oyster bars but I wanted to get you all's opinion. Which would be a better craft? Saw a gheenoe set up on Tallahassee...

Re: Jon boat or Gheenoe for flats

Learned something new.

Was just thinking about adding some cork to the boat just in case I needed a quick plug. But the game has changed!
