Atticus; I got your e-mail but my reply wont send. My Action Craft is a 1820 Coastline, year 2000. I really do like it a lot, The ride is good. In a 2 foot chop I can run near 45 mph. In a 3 foot chop I can run around 20 to 25 mph. Faster depending on the direction of the chop. JT51 rode with me one...

Yes, it was a tight tournament. We had 12-13 lbs. which tied for third, our big fish was heavier (24" 3-13 lbs.) so we claimed third. we put in at Spring Creek and fished around Shell Point early and late, caught most of our fish around Cobb and Redfish Point. One of the five fish we weighed ca...

Thats what I have always said, If your not catching anything don't reach for your Tackle Box, Reach for the Key and put the motor in gear. Heck your already casting your favorite bait, how could you improve on it. A boat has a motor for the same reason a fish has a tail.

I can get very superstitious, I always have a fishing hat when I fish. I have had hats that seemed to always catch fish and others that just don't seem to work as well. Of course the fish don't know what I am waring, But I do. So I guess it's what will raise your confidence level.

You sound ready for next weekend, I'm ready can't wait. It should be a great weekend for fishing. the water temp should rise another 3 to 5 degrees with the sunshine. I'm sure our paths will cross Fri. Sat. or Sun. Good Luck,

Flukes are all I use, "Year round", for saltwater. If your going through 4 or 5 packs a trip you need to change the brand your buying. Xtrude makes a harder plastic and there are a lot of other hard rubber baits. The first thing I do when shopping for flukes is squeeze the bait and feel ho...
